This video clip was taken in the last couple of days and really shows the fun in owning and being a Rhodesian Ridgeback Breeder. They are incredibly beautiful dogs, great family companions and are fully of explosive energy.
I wanted to capture the interraction and play between our two bitches Nala (mother)6yrs and Maya (daughter) 2 years before Nala starts suffering from any morning sickness and switching off from the ‘play times’.
See what you think, there is a bit of explosive action by Maya running with the wind up her and then a bit of nuzzling & grooming time, showing the tender side to their nature. Then its a bit of training with simple leave command, stay & come! Well OK the come wasn’t the best they can do,with them bolting early – but they always take liberties when I have a camera in my hand!
This was taken a week after Nala was mated with her Stud – Yogi ( Veltdkammer Yumazin Yogi ). A litter is on its way and I am looking forward to catching all the developments and changes on route – cant wait to keep you all posted!
