I stumbled across this article yesterday of an ex-army guy who was taking his two Rhodesian Ridgebacks for a mamouth 1200 mile walk from Lands End in Cornwall to John O’Groats, Scotland.
They plan to cover around 20 miles per day and will be on the road for 67 days, allowing for 5 days of rest.
Former soldier Martin Fletcher, will do the walk to raise money for the Veterans’ Association UK (VAUK). The full article can be found here:
